HAPPY NEW YEAR!

never did get around to those design changes…bummer.

my car is slightly less broken now – got a new headlight/turn signal assembly, and hood from Crazy Ray’s and a grille and some other pieces from a GM parts guy. so my hood is flat again – which is nice – but its also green, and i’d like to change that at some point. my quarterpanel is still all bent up…gotta get back up to ray’s and dig for that.

slightly related – i bought a jeep this week, ’99 cherokee sport, black. picked it up tuesday evening from just outside richmond. i’ll have pics in my gallery soon, i hope. took it in for inspection today and it failed so i know what i’ll be doing this weekend need to replace the:

• windshield wiper motor – the wipers don’t “park” when you turn them off

serpentine belt – its just old: 71.5k miles on the clock

• rear wheel cylinders – brakes are leaking a bit, so i get to learn how drums work

all in all, not too bad for the age/milage of the vehicle, and i knew the work would have to start sometime…

just about bedtime now, see you in august!

I got in my first accident ever on Saturday. I rear-ended a Jeep Grand Cherokee, going probably 7mph. Isn’t that fun? The only good part was that we were on our way to go climbing, for real, outside at Great Falls.

I just installed my fingerboard today, after having it sit around since Christmas ’02. Now I can give these a shot and get crazyfingersofdoom!

i woke up this morning just in time to not look like i just woke up when the medical technician guy showed up at 11 for blood and urine samples (I just signed up for a few additional life insurance policies…this wasn’t a normal sunday activity).
